Ever since I was a little girl I knew how to fight, cheat, steal, anything that involved criminal acts. I never did understand back than. I had wanted to be a Marine in the Navy. I got my wish when I turned five.

My uncle, Sparrow D. Inukai, had sent me off to join the Navy. I did just that, but as I was there I had been training with many well known Marines. On my fifteenth birthday I had been stationed in the New World where four of the Yonko resided.

Of course I had met two out of four. 'Red Hair' Shanks and his crew, along with 'Whitebeard' Edward Newgate and his crew or his family of 'sons'. They were something else, really.
Being a Marine fresh out of training at HQ, it didn't take a genius to guess I wasn't strong enough to fight them.

At least, that's what the other Marines thought.

I became Vice Admiral by the time I had turned seventeen. I gotten stronger and stronger with no signs of stopping... I guess that's why the World Government had ordered to have me killed. That was months ago. Now I'm sailing the seas a Pirate Lord, just like my father before me, and his father before him. 

I, Sparrow D. Nanami, start my journey as a Pirate Lord and maybe take down some Marines on the way.
