This is the story of an amnesiac. This story is fictional; however this story will use real life scenario's and experiences to help me write it. This story will hopefully raise awareness to different illnesses, diseases, and conditions. I hope you all enjoy, and I can't wait to hear comments! Side note, this is very early development so is you would like to edit as you go that is fine by me!

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As if on cue, my room door bursts open, and in comes a girl. She's short, round in the face and has caramel skin; the ends of her natural, curly afro hair are died turquoise, and brown eyes lined with navy blue liner stare at me with curiosity, relief, but most of all, love. It's as if I've never seen her before in all my life, but I know her. I don't even have to ask who it is, or wait for an introduction. "Evetta," I breathe, but from the way that her lips curl into a smile, I know that she heard me. *** Caleb Winters wakes from a coma after a horse riding incident which he cannot remember, with chunks of his memory missing. He is impatient for his memories to return, and begins to worry that they never will. He has become disoriented, frustrated and angry; a far cry from the joyful, playful boy that his parents claim he was before the accident. He has become paranoid; he trusts no one. No one, except for his guiding light; a girl named Evetta, whom he has no memory of, but somehow knows inside out. Leah Greens: She is a bubbly lesbian girl who is the adopted older sister of Ren. She loves doing Tiktok and going on Snapchat. But when she discovered Ren, her little brother who has the Hanahaki disease. She race along with the clock to save her sibling from dying. Can Leah save her brother in time before it's too late? Caleb Rose-brown: He is dating the popular girl, Aisha Coles. He is athlete, but he loves doing math and science. He is best friends with Ren Greens and Leah Greens before. But since his schedule is so mess up, he spend less and less time with them as usual. But when he discover Ren's secret, will he save them in time or let Ren died? Aisha Coles: She is the popular girl at school, but she has a secret. She likes girls, but her parents forced her to date Caleb Rose-Brown. She is forced to mean to Ren Greens because her parents want her to be perfect. She is Ren's rival, well, they used to be friends before all this happened.
