Ellen is bored with her life. Bored of her routine, her peers, and her bustling city.

Signing up for a city-wide school clue hunt was only meant to be a method of passing time. But as Ellen gets more and more involved in finding the end of trail and unravelling the cryptic and strangely creepy clues, she finds herself discovering things about the people and places she thought she knew - breath taking, impossible secrets which will change her life forever.

To add to the mystery, one of her classmates has gone missing and her baby brother is witness to his kidnapping.
