Shayla Theron is a proud warrior. She is a native of Thanagar, a planet of war-loving winged power houses. She was supposed to take her rightful place in the armed forces following a trip to her uncle's home a galaxy away. But things change when her and her parents ship is attacked while passing by the planet Earth. Shayla watches her parents die before being drug off into the hell that is LexCorp. There they stripped her of her dignity and hope, turning her into a weapon. She escapes only to be taken in by the dark knight himself who leads her to a team of young heroes. To protect these new teammates she hides herself, making the young heroes wary of her. Will she ever be a part of the team? Will Shayla learn to turn her misfortune into an agent of goodness? Or will the guilt and rage following her parents death consume her?

14 year old Jade Knight is the Jester, adopted daughter of The Joker and Harley Quinn. She's been with them since she was a young child but spent a few of those years training with assassins. She is meant to take over the role of being the Joker but to do so she has to kill Robin. Robin is guessed to attend Gotham Academy so Jade is sent there undercover as a new student but finding Robin is harder than it looks. She makes a friend called Dick Grayson and after a while he starts to make the things the Joker and Harley put into her head go away and she sort of changes and realises she doesn't actually want to be the Jester anymore. She finally tells Joker and Harley she doesn't want to be the bad guy anymore but they don't accept it and try to kill her. She's then saved by the league but when she wakes up Joker is gone and left a broadcast announcing that Jade was the Joker, the one thing she feared most of becoming and it breaks her making her loose what's left of her sanity. Nearly two years later she finds out that Dick didn't die and that he was under a new name, Nightwing. But will his return be enough to reverse her being the Joker or will she still stay insane?Complete
