When they were three they shared juice boxes. At five they planted a willow tree, seven they walked into school hand in hand. When they were thirteen he fell in love but didn't say a word. At sixteen his heart grew fonder of the girl that stayed clueless. and at eighteen he had had enough he grabbed up his collage fund and sent her a text to meet at the school and stayed for hours for a girl that never came. He walled home heavy in heart and checked his phone to find a text. The boy runs to the willow tree, his heart ripping from his chest at the sight of his best friend lying on the ground. He falls to the floor and covers her face with his tears. As his tears fall he wipers in her ear " If only, I had told you I loved you, our last breaths could have been together, watching our grand children play in the gentle breeze of the spring and we could have faded together, underneath the willow tree. He kisses her cold forehead and stands up, tears still falling and drops the ring box deep into the roots of the willow tree. With a last tear he leaves swearing to never love again.

"And you certainly feel like a human girl..." Jones trails off while he torments me by caressing the side of my cheek with his long finger. The only thing I can do is remain still. The boy on the Willow had warned me not to take off without him. I should have listened. Curiosity. What a bitch. *** A story of stubborn love, reincarnation, and mysteriously enchanting lands. Throw in a different species of vampires, and other supernatural beings - and boy, we are in for a very interesting ride. A teenage girl, who is always over analyzing life is thrown into an unknown land where she meets not one, but two handsome strangers. One who seems to have all of the answers hidden behind his kind, yet entrancing eyes. The other - tall, dark and brooding. One nice, and one so obviously naughty. A love triangle at its finest.
