Breathless Gasp

I tried to fight for life.
The life that the people around me is wishing for it to end
The life that most of the people are considering not as a gift,
but as a curse that they shouldn't have.

I tried to fight for life.
I was in the middle of life and death, but I was shouting for life.
The urge was too much, that the Deity gave the life that I badly wanted.
Maybe the urge was way too much, that the Deity gave me a life

with an identity that isn't mine.
