Katherine Moore is a 19 year old girl whose life hasn't been so great. With a mom who is never home due to work and business trips, she is left alone with her alcoholic dad who seems to hate her. High school wasn't great either. With only her best friend Joslyn by her side, the two girls were constantly picked on because of the music they like. But when fate brings Katherine and one of her bullies Zayn Malik together, something changes, the two form an unlikely love.
