After Annabeth's betrayal, Percy sets off on a solo quest, determined to kill as many monsters before getting slain. He is soon joined by Clarisse La Rue. And soon the War god Ares and Lady Chaos, Creator of all, joins them for a meeting.

After a year, evil forces threaten Olympus again and for some reason, Aphrodite. Ares summons Team Halcyon to spilt to guard Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter and the Hunt. Percy to his dismay, is assigned to protect Aphrodite and to learn her powers over love. Slowly but surely, as the two live with each other, they start to love each other.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
