This is the dreadful story of 16 year old Shaylnn's hard life. After her mothers violent death when she was 14, she is still slowly adjusting to life without. He mother, and little brother are the only ones she cares about. Her baby brother of 3 years old was only 1 when he lost his mother. Her dad lives on his own in a completely different state and she just tells everybody that she is a single mother because of her embarrassment of her father. Shaylnn's aunt sends them money every month but that doesn't quiet cover it. So she gets a job at the local mall. It covers barely enough for them to live off of. Then she miraculously finds that her best friend has been in contact with the famous band, One Direction telling them her story. When the band wants to help pull her away from the trap of depression, something tragic happens.
