A girl named Shadow doesn't know that she isn't human. It takes the death of her father and meeting a couple new people along with going through different adventures to learn her true nature. Along with learning things about her mother that she never knew, finding out things about herself that she was kept hidden from. Now she has to choose to either follow this journey or give it up and try leading a normal life.
