20 parts Complete MatureI was walking peacefully down the corridor, minding my own business, when suddenly-BAM-I found myself face-first on the cold, hard floor. Now, I know I'm clumsy, but this? This was not an accident. I could already feel the smug energy radiating from behind me.
"You okay, hun?"
Ah, there it was. The voice of my personal tormentor-Jeon freaking Jungkook. I lifted my head, just enough to see his annoyingly perfect face hovering over me, that stupid smirk plastered across his lips.
I groaned. "Did you really have to trip me, or is ruining my life just a hobby now?"
Jungkook crouched beside me, resting his elbow on his knee like he had all the time in the world. "Babe, gravity did most of the work. I just gave it a little... motivation."
I wanted to throw my shoe at him. Instead, I pushed myself up, dusting off my clothes, and glared at him. "You're a menace to society."
"And yet, society still loves me," he shrugged, offering me his hand like some gentleman. I smacked it away and stood up on my own. He chuckled.
"Aw, don't be shy. You love me too."
"In your dreams, Jeon," I scoffed, trying to walk away, only for him to easily keep up with my pace.
Now, normally, I'd just file Jungkook under Annoying Senior Who Has Too Much Free Time, but there was something about him-his eyes, his presence-that made my stomach do weird flips. He was my brother's friend, a harmless flirt (or so I thought), but sometimes... just sometimes, I felt like he was looking at me differently.
And that was dangerous.
Because the last thing I needed was to fall for Jeon Jungkook.
