In the Kingdom of Aefidore, children who are born with magic are sent to the School for Mages which is located in each of the small towns dotted around the country. Here they are taught to control their magic and use it correctly. Or so the people are told.
Arabella never thought she was anything special, but when strange things start happening to her she begins to question who she really is. And when she meets a boy from the Aefidore school for mages, things start to get a little more interesting.
