~COMPLETED~
Riley once had a best friend who she could trust, but that hadn't been the case for years. At 13-14 years old, Riley was held hostage in a basement before she was taken to a metal shack in the middle of nowhere.
Enter Alison, Riley's old best friend. Alison has a weird mental illness that stops her from being herself and sometimes she loses herself. But that doesn't make Alison innocent.
After years of being alone in a rotten metal cell by herself, Riley is forced to share her cell with a boy named Eli.
Will they get out alive before Alison notices?

**QUICK NOTE** DO NOT STEAL ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS OR THE STORY IN GENERAL. I (and my friend) OWN AND CREATED THEM.
PLEASE BE A NICE PERSON AND RESPECT THAT.
THANK YOU.
Beginning line of the story was from a prompt from Pinterest!
**IMPORTANT** This story was written by my friend and I a while back (her writing focuses more on Eli than Riley in the chapters!) Chapter Nine and on are mostly my writing so I hope you enjoy!
When Harlow accidentally takes the wrong bag at school she discovers a journal written by a mysterious, tortured boy inside. She becomes obsessed with discovering who it belongs to and how she can find him before it's too late. Will she find the real boy behind His Dark Words?
"I ... never ... thought ... you ... wanted ..." he says between kisses.
"I can fix this ... I swear I can ..." comes my breathless answer.
Suddenly he jolts away from me, holding me at arm's length. "What do you mean, Harlow?"
"I ... I mean I can help ... I can fix you." I stammer.
