She had been riding sense she was born. When Katie was 17 her mothers sister had passed away with drug overdose and left the state for a while leaving Katie and her dad(John) still in the country side. Katie's dad john had a full time job and was not able to come home and spend time with Katie. So, he sent her off to his sister aunt Georgia....
