When 14 year old Alex Hargrove finds himself in the midst of both family and school crisis, he realizes that he’s completely screwed. To let things cool down at home, Alex packs his bags and moves to small town in Florida. There, he lives in a motel, eventually an apartment, and leads a typical school life until he goes to school and gets things turned up-side-down when he meets 15 year old Sara Stiehler. Leading his new insane life, he gets himself into another tight spot, and in a blink, he finds himself suddenly living with Sara, and having the time of his life.
