14 year old Amber Tarlonson had the perfect life. She had two loving parents, good grades, and a lot of friends. Then one day her father never came home from the grocery store, and her life was never the same. Her mom had her transferred from their hometown in San Diego to a boarding in Dallas. Her whole life had been turned upside-down. That was 2 years ago. Now she's 16 and still struggling to forget her awful past. But despite her spiraling mental health, she's found a way to cope, her tape and glue: drugs and partying. It's the only way to forget her problems. But what will happen if someone finds out about her little addiction? Could it make her turn over a new leaf? Or will it make her mind darker than it already is? Read to find out! This is my first story so please don't judge :)

That was two year ago, and Jacqueline Blake is now a senior at Roosevelt High School. She's been happily enjoying her time at Seattle, with her best friend Amber West. But what happens when she starts her first day seeing the past she though she had push away at the school... all the hard times, all the pain and sorrow she'd went through to push this "tiny" area of her life away. And as problems progress through her senior year, and after high school graduation, will she be able to take on all these changes and adjustments, or will she have to run... avoid... and forget... all over again?
