Champion Touko is missing, but the world doesn't know it.

            At eighteen years old, Rosa is more than ready to begin her Pokémon journey and escape the hometown she's grown to loathe. Her plan to beat the league and travel the world seems simple enough, but when she learns the former Unova champion Touko mysteriously vanished two years previously, she's pulled into sinister plans and ancient secrets. Confused by their connection but determined to save both Touko and herself, Rosa sets out to rid the Unova region of Team Plasma's control once and for all.

This makes Rosa the only person he doesn't talk to, due to a complication in their childhood he regrets, thought never mentions it, but Rosa was easy to forgive and forget, yet still prefers to keep herself away from getting hurt again. When learning that Nate never talked to Rosa before, his friends go far and beyond to help their friendship bloom again. But things aren't taken lightly and everyone soon discovered that there was trauma in their past. Trying to get past the complicated insecurities the couple holds, it'll take a lot of work for the students from multiple regions to get through.
