Sakura was on the very same bench Sasuke has left her. Crying with such sorrowful tears that it quickly saddened her surroundings. She was crying for her teammate, the very teammate now considered as a S-rank criminal. Sasuke Uchiha. She hated the name to be mentioned by her friends even it was only to reminisce those fun times they had together. "Why?" she cried. "Why did I have to be on love with someone like Sasuke-kun?" she complained bitterly. "If only." "If only I had one last chance." "Another chance to restart my life." "Even though, this would change my future, it's fin with me." "I just needed a second chance." Before she knew it, she was somewhere where no darkness existed, only light. "Where am I?" she wondered. "I will not tell you where you are," said a voice that felt like as soft as cotton and as elegant as ballet dancer dancing the most beautiful way. "Why am I here for?" asked Sakura. " You are here because of what you pleaded for," the voice said. "Your second chance." "My second chance?" "Yes, but you have to risk something." the voice said in a serous tone. " Your memory." "My memory?" said Sakura worriedly. She greatly cherished her memories, especially the fun times she had with her friends. " Yes, that will be the only sacrifice to get your second chance," replied the voice. Sakura was determined to get a second chance. " Alright, I accept." "Your second chance is granted." Book One: The Era of Change
Imagine, if thirty people - that's an entire class - were suddenly flung through the space-time continuum and pulled into a whole new world. A world which had previously existed behind a giant screen and as ink on paper. A world of ninja and mighty beasts made of chakra. Thirty people. Surely, this amount of people would send the entire story out of sequence and completely destroy the plot. The amount of change would be unfathomable. No? But...as our resident fatalist Neji Hyuga would say - not all people are destined to lead. Some must follow, others are simply pieces to be used. Four kunoichi have returned to Konoha, their only weapon in the ninja world being their knowledge. As they strive to master the ancient arts and understand the secrets of Ninshu, they also manage to find themselves in many a hilariously awkward situation whilst trying to integrate into the village that is Konohagakure no Sato. --- - We are all destined to live through an era of change. The Way Into Mist Village (NarutoxMHA)
What happens when you take 4 hero students, one ex-villain, two aliens, and over 15 ninjas, and throw them all together on a weeks long road trip through their enemies territory? *** The 4th Great Shinobi War has ended, and Gaara is starting to wonder how the nations will maintain their fragile peace without a common enemy. He's devised a plan to go on a diplomatic tour of the shinobi world, and try to establish strong bonds with each village, and Mist Village is his first stop. Joining Gaara and his two ever loyal siblings, Temari and Kankuro, will be the Leaf Shinobi, Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, Tenten, Hinata, Neji, and surprisingly, Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke isn't really going for the mission though, he's been persuaded to join them by Gaara's new, out of this world teacher, Shine Likstar, and her partner Wally West, and their current hero trainees, Momo, Shoto, Dabi--and now joining them: Bakugo and Camie. They all don't start off on the best foot, and Gaara wonders how they'll make it to Mist without killing each other. Along the way the group runs into Sasuek's old Team Taka, and makes some detours into creepy lairs, all the while trying not to drive each other insane with their crazy hijinks and culture clashes. Not to mention past trauma. But things may heat up when they actually reach Mist Village and find more than they bargained for. [This story is a sort of spin off of the canon story line, and picks up where my shorter retelling of the first show in "New Way of Ninja" leaves off. Read that book first if you want to know how these characters know each other. Otherwise if you just want to jump right in and figure it out, I respect that approach too. This should be a lot of fun. The story is styled to be more Slice of Life/Action, but they'll be ships, funny situations, and angst and drama in plenty for all of you who like a little spiciness with your friendship stories. "Until further notice; your mission that you were to go on is not happening." Sasuke just looked at Kakashi, he wasn't known for stopping a mission unless something terrible was happening. "What happened to my Fiance..." Sasuke murmured. He wanted to inch his hand to his sword. He wanted something physical to attack. His anger was smothered in fear. "What would you think Karin would want with Sakura...?" Kakashi murmured. Kairn? What did she have to do with any of this. "I... I honestly wouldn't know... I don't keep up with them anymore. Why?" "Because Sakura was reported to be knocked out in a red headed girls arms just this morning, they tried to catch up to her, but failed." Kakashi murmured, Naruto grabbed Sasuke's arms and pinned them to his sides. Everyone knew Sasuke was about to act irrationally. Sasuke was wordless, he didn't know what to do. His mind raced. They couldn't catch up to Karin? They couldn't save her? He knew there was something they weren't telling him. "What the fuck.... you told me she was safe in this damn village!" Sasuke yelled. He pulled against Naruto, trying to free himself. "You told me to trust you damn it!" "Naruto..." Kakashi murmured. "I'm sorry Sasuke..." He mumbled from behind him.
