Karina had been on her own for the majority of her life. With her mother dead since she was 7 yrs old, her acoholic father who she hasnt spoken to since she was 15, and her twin sister who ran away at the age of 11 because she was strung out on drugs, Karina had never had anybody to depend on. Nobody was there to teach her how to be a woman or how to love. Now, at 22, she has never been in love or even wanted to. After seeing at a very young age the abuse her dad put her mom through, she decided love wasnt for her. Then comes Carmen. Carmen was a regular at the club Karina stripped/bartended at. She tested Karina's patience and tries to figure out why this beautiful girl is so scarred. Will Carmen get through Karina's walls? Or will she find herself deep into trouble she cant get herself out of?

Although her best friend, Lina, has mysteriously betrayed her for unknown reasons, where she is sent away to the Adjustment Center, a place that seems doomed for failure where everyone who has broken the rules are casted out to...
