Kauai lives with her mom, dad, and older sister in Hawaii. For her 11th birthday they decide to take her to New York. Everything is going amazing, they see a play, shop, laugh, and enjoy each other but New York is a crowded place, and soon Kauai is lost.
Seven years later Kauai has a new family, but she longs for the islands she remembers. So she makes a plan to reunite with her family and her home.
