To The Stars

We think we know everything when really, we don't at all. People hide things for many reasons- out of fear, heartbreak, mistrust, or because they feel that the only way to cope is to bottle it up into something silent that haunts them. Sometimes we find out because the person opens up to us, but I only ever found out about Anneliese's story after my grandmother was unable to tell it in her own words.
