This is a story about a little boy who uses the love of piano to separate himself from the abuse that he receives from his mother. Young 10 year old Ashton Mathews lived a happy childhood until when he turned  six and his father left the family. With all the hatred that his mom brings onto the thing that reminds her of her husband, Ashton, he still loves her no matter what. This young boy then learns piano and uses an instrument to set himself free. This is the story of how a boy recieved Freedom In Music.
