This story is an alternate ending to 8x11\8x12 of The Vampire Diaries. Where Bonnie couldn't stand loosing Enzo and forced Damon to erase her memory of Enzo and all things magical (vampires, witches, werewolves, etc.) including everyone magical she's ever known. Bonnie had Damon put her in an institution under strict visiting rules. Her current memories are that her parents put her in the hospital when she was 5 and never came back to get her. But 5 years after placing her in the institution Damon needs to save Bonnie and bring her back.
