The Fate of Alexis White

Alexis White is a magic wielder or wielder for short, beings sent down to the earthen realm by the Gods to protect mortals from harm and evil. They have the ability to cast spells, brew potions, influence the elements. Plus being able to write, speak and use runes and wyrds.
Humans don't know anything about the secret society protecting them and that's how it is supposed to stay. The Wielder's Council enforces all the laws within the society to keep peace and ensure mortals are ignorant of their existence.

Alexis's life was simply, or as simply as it could get when you killed unnatural creatures, sent from the dark world with the soul mission of killing humans, for a living. Having a shifter for a best friend always spices things up too, not to mention her oddly short figure and mix matched eyes. Despite all that her life actually was simple...until it wasn't.
When Alexis finishes her shift at The Ally she has a strange animal encounter on her way back home. From that point on her whole life changes and along the way she accidentally unlocks a creature that's been secretly hiding deep within her since birth. Now her whole life is in the hands of fate, if fate was her tall handsome kidnapper.
