Picture a nice, peaceful, quiet small town in Louisiana. It had everything it needed, and this town wasn't marked on most maps. Here, people knew everything about everybody, and that's the way its always been. Come back in time (WARNING: discrimination is in this book to add realism) and meet Kelly Mason. She was on her last year of high school and had big plans in her life, and had everything going for her: a nice house, nice friends, and a nice boyfriend who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. So why does that new boy in town catch her attention so much? He doesn't matter, does he? She has everything she could ever want, right? Wrong. Evan Thompson has moved to the middle of nowhere in a southern town to be with his dying father. He quickly finds a way for earning money and tries to make a new life for himself. He stirs up trouble in the town and in some ladies' hearts. Kelly wants to know everything about him, and learns more than she pleases. And gains new feelings on the way. Evan doesn't know how far past his limits he's gone this time. What's with this Kelly girl? Why isn't she like the other women? How come that every time he sees her, he can't control himself? Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.Concluída

Amber is starts off the book as a 5th grader who has a lot in her life from losing all of her friends, having to move schools the next year, and her brother graduating from there Catholic school to go to public high school. Amber and her brother Shane are very close and can talk about anything. While Shane is in his freshman year in public school he meets a boy named Jason. Jason and Shane acme best friends and Amber starts to realize that she's losing her brother and will do anything to keep him. After a little while she's has all the boys looking at her and she accepts Jason. But Shane and jason can't handle the boys she with especially Tyler. These three will be through a lot together like Divorces, Losing friends, getting kicked out of your house, going away to boarding school for 3 years, and than coming home to live in a house full of your brothers friends. Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him.
