This book is self explanatory. It's obviously about life and death. But it's not exactly what you would be expecting. Life and death are in love. Madly, in love. Neither of them want to accept that so they torture each other. Death kills, life saves. They're opposites. You could say opposites attract, and this is an excellent example. That through the toughest problems you can find your way to love. I mean, even if you're dead. *** "Why do they hate you?" I asked, running a hand through my white hair awkwardly, trying to tie in a braid. He glances up at me with his bright eyes, something I thought was strange for a man who was death himself. He was beautiful. But only I saw that. I saw his true colors. "What do you mean?" I finished the braid and stared up at him with wonder. "Why do they love me, but hate you?" He lets out a laugh, and suddenly, his face was inches from mine. I could feel his oddly cold breath hit my face. His hand touched my cheek and his eyes met mine. "Well it's pretty simple." He stated, pressing his forehead against mine. "You..." he looked down as if he couldn't find the words. "You are..beautiful. The beautiful lie that makes everything better." He let out a deep chuckle and then sighed. he let go of my face and backed away, and hid his face from me once again. "And I'm one hell of an ugly truth."
