Maybe she's the night Maybe she's the moon The brightest stars are dying Perhaps her time is soon Maybe she shines a certain way Dull- but still a spark Maybe you didn't mean it But every word made her life dark Maybe she was the cosmos Maybe she held the key Maybe you could have saved her But you drowned her in your sea //an excerpt//

Vital

Featured on @WattpadPoetry's reading list Stygian Skies and @CoffeeCommunity's Cappuccino reading list. A poetry book that trembles with fear, explodes with rage, and loves with everything it has. It tries to make sense of the past and explores trauma head on in an unfiltered way that leaves no room for denial. It's a documentation of my entire life, moments both sun kissed and dark. A book written with the new understanding that expressing how you feel is absolutely vital. Most of my poems come from personal experience and some topics may be sensitive to some readers. Some themes included consist of toxic household environments, the loss of loved ones, abusive relationships, suicidal thoughts and actions, and struggling with mental illness.
