Gerard has been in the Asylum for years, and things are okay, kind of. He has friends, access to art supplies, and he doesn't really want to leave. Enter, Frank. Gerard hasn't ever had something like this happen, and it seems to change everything. A gay bandom AU, mostly Frerard. They're all in a mental hospital. This is in no way accurate in regards to the way actual mental hospitals operate. It's just for fun.

(prequel to the "I tried...and failed" one shot) Gerard is in the army and Frank is his husband. Sometimes, they go half a year or more without seeing each other. It's not something they can't handle, but sometimes it gets to be too much. There's always the possibility that Gerard may not come back home and Frank hates it.

She went under extreme depression leaving the two boys with a mother (or step-mother) that was somewhat unstable. So with a mother who was always crying and wallowing in self-pity, will the two boys actually suck it up and talk to each other when there is no one else? And maybe they get too friendly with each other...

Shortly before losing his father to cancer, Frank develops a change of heart and becomes a caregiver. Getting sick of working many dead-end and crummy jobs at nursing homes, he takes up in-home care, where he meets Gerard, an old friend from high school. Diagnosed with a terrible illness that is soon to claim his life, Gerard has a very negative outlook on life, feeling both worthless and beyond help. But, will any of that change when his old high school friend, and now caregiver, comes back into his life? (Kudos to momiji_neyuki for collaborating with me on this fic!)

Gerard Way was admitted into the Blueman Mental Hospital because of severe depression, self-harm and suicidal thoughts. When they're forced to be roomates? Gerard couldn't stop himself...He didn't want to.He just threw his head back and allowed the liquid to spark a fire in the back of his throat as he consumed it.He was losing himself more than should be humanly possible. And he didn't care. That's all he knew now. Alcohol and drugs. But without his main addiction that had been taken from him,he was slowly destroying himself. He was becoming a monster. Gerard needed Frank.
