What do you hate? Four simple words, no simple answer. Well for me anyways. I don’t hate. I think hate is a disgusting word. What’s the point of it? Cordelia Davis is a sweet and happy sixteen year old girl, raised in a nice family with two younger sisters and one older, not to mention the most in love parents ever. With a great group of friends, good grades, and all she could ever ask for she has no reason to hate anything or anyone. Her life is relatively perfect and normal when her schools “Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome” strides into her life with his abnormally long legs. He seems adamant to show her that the world isn’t all rainbows and unicorns like she thinks, but what will her response be when he asks the question “what do you hate?”. Nothing, of course.

[Cordelia Ashford] Sometimes, I wonder why I even climbed the ladder. The anger that fueled me to rise and become a tycoon has faded over the last five years. Now, I'm just an empty shell of a woman. The purpose of my revenge disappeared without a trace. Perhaps my feelings dulled over time. Maybe, in all that chaos, I forgot the entire reason I started in the first place. Until the reason stood in the middle of my meeting room-a female secretary behind him, and still as arrogant as ever. But this time, older, colder, and who knows-maybe he'll ask for my forgiveness. "Mr. Alexander Gray. What are you doing in my office?" I asked coldly, eyes narrowed, masking my emotions until he saw nothing except indifference. He smirked, as if he hadn't destroyed me all those years ago. He leaned against my chair, drank my coffee, and had the audacity to keep his filthy hands on my table. "Revenge." ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ [Alexander Gray] She looked emotionless, like someone had sucked the entire life out of her. She glared at me while I tried hard not to strangle her myself. It took five years-five years to overcome betrayal, heartbreak, and pain. She played me like a fool, and now she stood there acting like I was the one who wronged her. Only one thing fuels me now: to break this woman like she broke me. ●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●●● A story of two people fueled by determination to bring down the other.
