All that changes though, when on the way to class she bumps into the school's stereotypical bad boy, Stephen Murano, and does something she never thought she would ever do...Slap him right across his face.

Everlee Bridge, a scared, lonely, heartbroken girl, is in a mess she never asked for. Seven years in a place she never wanted to be in broke her into pieces she couldn't pick up. Life has been hard for her since her parents gave her away to a gang. Her unwillingness cost her a lot in the past. So she accepted her defeat and decided to just keep going with everything until it reaches an end. Well, things don't go as planned when she moves to a completely different town with a bunch of other gang members. She still wants to stay hidden and away from everyone. But that seems impossible when she bumps into Asher Kellins and his absolutely crazy friends in her new school. Her life takes a different turn, but for the first time she doesn't want to fight it. But the thing is, her past is still her present and that is bound to suck her in at some point. Leaving the pain of her past behind her she starts a fresh in a new town with her older brother. Meeting the towns bad boy was not on her agenda but every time she saw him she was intrigued. He was rude and had a terrible attitude, but his eyes didn't show anything but pain which is something she knew all too well. They are complete opposites but have one thing in common.
