The ocean keeps secrets - ones that will draw you in and captivate both body and mind. Humans only see a portion of what truly dwells in the sea. They say mermaids protect the ocean and live in it's deepest parts.

Despite nautical tales, Charlotte knew mermaids didn't exist, and even if they did, such a thing couldn't have been hidden for so long. She hated the open sea and wished she could get away. Just months before her eighteenth birthday, she a found small box that mysteriously appeared on the shore. At the same time she met a cryptic boy, who seemed just as interested in the box as she was.

Distracted and infatuated, her greatest wish started to become a mere dream and she started to doubt her doubts.

Did mermaids really exist or was this box just playing with her imagination?
