"Forever?" I asked. "Forever." He promised. "Don't make promises you can't keep, love," I warned him. "Because your mistakes will come back to bite you in the ass." He nodded confidently and placed a kiss in my forehead. He was such a sweetheart... I wonder if he would hate me if he knew the truth about me. If he knew I was the son of one of the most powerful demons in the whole universe... If he knew that his mortal life could be taken away with only a snap of my fingers, if only he knew how much power I had over his meaningless life...
