L'histoire se déroule à Paris.
Nous suivons le quotidien de Mario Cheng & Adriena AGREST , 2 lycéens qui ont été choisis pour sauver Paris des forces du Mal.
Ils ont été chargés de capturer les Akuma, créatures qui transforment les habitants en Super-méchants.
Lorsqu'ils sont impliqués dans de telles aventures, ces 2 adolescents deviennent secrètement des Super-héros :
le pas très pétillant Mario se transforme alors en leebug et devient différent et la discrète Adrianna devient Chatte Noir (Black Cat) plus pétillante et joyeuse
Cependant, aucun ne connait le secret de l'autre...
