A Numbers Game

Zephyr has been called a freak all her life. Seeing numbers bobbing above peoples' head wasn't exactly what you'd call normal. It was only after she lied to the psych ward and her own mother that she was able to live the façade of a normal life. Until the boy with the freckles shows up with the biggest number she'd ever seen. Carter claims he's just a kid starting over but something about his story seems fake.
