Peel away the pride and confidence and what would remain of the Malfoy heir or Gryffindor witch?
After a fateful meeting way before Hermione knew she was a witch or Draco learned the price he had to pay for being the Malfoy heir, the story follows our favorite otp in Year 5 right up to the Battle. Amid chaos that marks Voldemort's return and fighting to survive, obviously it evaded all rationale: they could never not stand on the opposite sides. It would mean letting go of his legacy, beliefs and all that made him great in his eyes while she could barely like somebody who mocked her very existence in the wizarding world.
Then again, hardly anything about Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy had been ordinary. Let's see where this goes.
