"I love you." The words fel from my lips before I could stop them. He pinned my back against the wall and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "Careful what you say. I might just eat you. Doesn't that scare you?" His voice was deep and intimidating but I held tightly onto my pride. "No. I want you to." He chuckled softly in my ear as I clung to his shirt. "Okay, Amy. I'm warning you now. There's no going back." I nodded my head waiting for him to bite me. I loved him and it was going to end up getting me killed.

Amy Wilson, one of the few shapeshifters left alive, was given to the Dragadors at ten years old when they came into their village and asked for her.
