The only thing you could hear is our panting breaths. He looks me over with confusion, anger and...lust. His touch sends fire through me, which has my body shivering but I refuse to give in.
"You could have gotten yourself killed." His voice fills the air and his eyes are ablaze."What are you doing out here pass our territory?"
I struggle to find words as I notice how little the distance between us spans. My wolf wants to connect our lips and wants to claim him but I stop her thoughts.
'Remember he is our enemy'
My wolf huffs her annoyance but obliges. I push him away from me and turn to leave. "That was my kill, you have no right taking it from me." I shift into my wolf and let her lead us back home.

Cara had life easy. She was the successor of her father, she found love in her childhood best friend, and her territory was overall the most well behaved out of all the wolf territories in her country. So when she is offered to train at a Alpha/Luna camp, that trains future Alpha and Luna to the greatest, she goes to improve her flaws.
Cara comes back sooner than later only to find her territory a disaster. Half of the population is either wounded or dead, her family gave up their title to another alpha, her childhood lover is M.I.A. and is said to be a rogue, and the arrogant bastard who took her father's title, even though it was willingly given up, is her mate. She takes to trying to piece everything back together and tries to find the truth. Secrets will be revealed and curses will be undone and created.
