When Lucy Heartfilia moves into her estranged fathers house after her mother passes, he gives her three rules.

She is not allowed in the mansion by herself.
She is not allowed to invite people into the mansion.
And she is not allowed to go down into the basement.

Lucy could care less what junk he has stored down in the grimy basement he calls a work lab. Her only priority is of finishing her senior year in a new school with at least one friend. But that is until she starts to hear strange noises. Coming from the basement.

Curiouser and curiouser, Lucy finds herself inexplicably drawn to the basement door, determined to uncover what her father is hiding. And why he needs a lock on the door.

But what she will find, will change everything she remembers about her past, and drastically alter her future.
