PTSD is a disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event. People can often have flashbacks of the event, anxiety, or deep depression.
Take Baylee Isaac as an example.
She was an out-going, fun-loving, teenager with the voice of an angel.
But, when one of her very best friends loses her life in a car crash, she is the first responder. She witnessed her best friend; Kayla Connor die.
She develops PTSD, and she completely changes as a person. The old Baylee is nonexistent.
But, when pretty boy Ashton Darwin comes in the picture, everything will keep changing.
But will they change for the better?
As soon as she lays eyes on his green orbs, she immediately fell in love with them.
But...
He's also her counselor's son and the star basketball player!
Will he keep her safe and sound? Will Ashton Darwin bring back the old Baylee Isaac? Or will she continue to completely isolate herself until she leaves school?
