Ally Dawson is head-over-heels in love with Austin Moon. She just doesn't know it yet. But as Austin's music career skyrockets and the two of them end up having to spend more and more time together to work on new songs, Ally discovers that her feelings for Austin are red hot. She's never felt this strongly about any guy before though, and she's not quite sure how to deal with it. Austin Moon has always had special feelings for Ally, but as he became more and more of a rock star, he's pushed those feelings aside, sure that he doesn't have a chance, yet afraid of what will happen if Ally finds out the truth. And when the two of them least expect it, something sparks. Then Ally discovers that she may need to move across the country with her dad. Both of them are devastated to think that they may need to part ways for good. And still neither of them have admitted how they feel about the other.
