Caleb is definitely a troubled child. Alone, with nothing going for him, he attempts to take his own life but fails at his first attempt. He desperately wants to try again but is put under constant supervision, especially by his new doctor, Dr Palmer. Dr Palmer becomes more and more involved in Caleb’s life, trying to help him see that his life is worth living through various methods. Jordan must learn along with Brooke, what is happening to her like everything else that has been added to her life, like her monthly, as he says, "This is just another sign that you're growing up" With hints of his feelings for her start to grow, his guilt grows, and as his guilt grows, it gets harder for him to keep his mistake to himself. He knows that he is too old for her, and he knows that he can't be with her otherwise, due to the mistake that caused him to feel guilt and regret for six years, he doesn't want to hurt her. If he tells her what he's been holding inside for so long, will she hate him and demand that he gets out of her life forever? Or will she understand and forgive him?
