Pretty Reflections

Arla Belle used to be a ballerina until her skin turned to glass. Now, every step she takes threatens to break her ankles. People scream when they see her move, and children are told the story of the Glass Girl.

The Circus of the Lost was her last chance to have a life outside hospitals. It's a place where the hopeless can dream, and the wanderers can call it home. It's there that Arla becomes a tightrope walker. She learns the trade and starts to feel whole once more.

But the Ringmaster is hiding something. Something dark. He'll do whatever it takes to keep his circus safe. Even if it means Arla won't live to see the next show.
