1957, the streets of San Francisco are split between two gangs. The Jay's, North side of town full of uppity rich kids and spoilt brats. The Clovers, the poor part of town full of the real hoodlums and criminals, at least that's what everyone believes. Keira Quoma is a small town country girl from Idaho. Due to her father's job, she has now left her quiet life of farms, mountains, and fresh air to the bustling city where buildings block out the sky and the air suffocates you. She is neither a Jay or a Clover, that doesn't sit well with most. After a bad experience with a Jay and a Clover saving her, she doesn't know what to do.

Only crow members can get crow tattoos and only descendants of the original crow can have the green eye. By tattoo that's on my lower back has a red eye. The red eye means non blood related member. But I have a smaller one with a blue eye beside it. The blue eye means leader. When California's biggest secret is discovered by her new boyfriend will she be able to keep her past and family secret the secret she wants it to be? Will the secret tear the couple apart or push them closer together?
