The outcome of Eerika's choices has finally caught up to her. She is now without her crown, on the run from Sylvi's warpath and separated from Calder. Back in Arizona where it all began, she has only a small set of tasks she knows she has to accomplish. Find the hybrid faery Sverdet, bring her back to what's left of her kingdom to defeat Sylvi, and reunite with Calder--whom she can only hope is still alive.

But she can't do this all on her own. Without any resources to help guide Eerika, it's going to take more than one person to help her track Sverdet down. She has to find the fey of the human world who were banished during the time of the ephemeral fey that can assist her on this blind quest.

Every second is limited in Eerika's grasp. If she can find Sverdet, the final battle against the frozen queen will be at hand. But who's will hold the crown in the end of this icy war?
