My breath faltered as his presence consumed me, beautiful and overwhelming all at once. "You didn't need to come out here," I murmured, my voice barely a whisper as I handed him the glass, my words catching in my throat. Ezra accepted the water, his fingers grazing mine, sending a shiver through me. "I couldn't stay in bed without you," he said softly, his voice deep and warm.
