A brand-new technology enters beta testing, and seeks volunteers to try out the latest virtual-reality experience and live out their ultimate fantasy in exchange for the license to use their image as background characters, like extras in other people's VR experiences. The lives of four people are all altered by this tantalising promise. Each of them must decide whether briefly living out their wildest dreams would be the experience of a lifetime, or a wrecking ball.

Elena has just been hired as an executive secretary at a large tech company. Specialized in making security systems and chips. The CEO of the company is known to be a very dominant man. Elena is not the first executive secretary the company has seen. Most quickly resigned because they could not work with Mr. Smith. It's her first day.
