After Layla's entire pack was wiped out by a lethal virus, she is forced to take refuge in The Outlands, a vast expanse of prison territory reserved for only the most vicious Rogues. She soon claims the territory as her own and lives deep in the forest, alone and isolated from civilisation.
Five years later a Rogue stumbles on to her territory, the first wolf she has seen since she left the pack lands. With his dying breaths, he tells her of Sanctuary, a camp set up by survivors of the epidemic, where all wolves are welcomed. Tired of living life as a Lone Wolf, Layla deserts her land and runs to join the pack with hopes of a new family.
