Do you have any clue how insufferable life is when it is impossible to die? Of course, over the years i had tried many times. So far i had done everything from asphixiation to Zoloft overdose.

I get into the bathroom and strip, all the way down to my tank top and boxers, discarding my piercings into the trash, I exit the room, only to have a gun pointed at my head. "Stop running from us." Says Dean angrily. "Stop chasing me." I reply, crossing my arms. "Selena, we could help you! We might of found a way to kill you." Sam tries, and I pause, looking up at them.

There I lay, screaming, clenching my husband's hand. 'Push darling. Push hard my little doll.' He whispered as pain wracked my entire body. I felt the child's head crest. 'You are doing well Virginia. Keep going.' my sister prompted, her cool hands separated my thighs wider. A contraction ripped through me, scraping its demonic claws into my very soul. 'Please! My Angel! Take it away! Take away my pain.' I sobbed. My husband looked upon my tear-stained face and frowned. 'You're dying.' He said suddenly, his eyes widened. He placed his palms upon my face and my pain disappeared. I felt my ripped lower region healing. 'Almost Virginia. Almost.' He cooed as he glanced between my spread legs. I pushed once more, and I felt the child leave my womb. 'It's a boy. A beautiful boy!' Shouted my sister, holding up the beautiful blonde child before cuddling him to her breast. 'Give him to me.' Lucifer demanded, his ice blue eyes never left the babe.

*Now, Katerina. I am pleased that you so willingly offered yourself up on a silver platter, but I did not plan to dine tonight. Your death will not be quick. Despite your greatest wishes. Tighten your corset strings love, you're in for quite the ordeal.' He grinned. And that's when I realised that real evil is born on earth.

"We're falling apart and I hate it!" I yelled, tears welling up in my eyes. "I want to hate you! I want to hate you for selling your soul to save me! I want to hate you for not caring about your own life enough to try and save it! I want to hate you for all of this. But I can't! I won't!" "It would be easier if you did!" Dean yelled back. "So just hate me already! Hate me! Leave me! Whatever you have to do to get through this! Just do it!" "Just...I don't want you to die." My voice faltered. "Please, Dean. Please. I just can't take this anymore." His eyes softened as he stepped forward and wrapped me in his arms. "I'm sorry, angel. I really am." "I can't deal with all of this on my own." "Yes, you can." Dean said. "You are so much stronger than you think. Believe me." ___ Saige Dawson's world was crashing down around her now. Not only was she slowly learning more about the curse she carried within her, but she realized just how bad things could get if she fell into the wrong arms. She also was trying to cope with the fact that she had died. That Sam had died. That because of that, Dean had sold his soul to a demon and was damned to burn in hell for eternity if she couldn't save him within a year. Time was running out and she was scared. She also has to learn how to tap into the power within her. She wasn't sure whether the power was good or bad and that alone made her want to ignore it, but she couldn't. She had to dig deep. To save Dean. To save herself. To find out what she truly is.

Dean stood over her grinning, savoring the crisp screams around him as the young girl clenched her jaw and squeezed her eyes shut. The demon was carving a bracelet in her wrist with lined cuts. It looked like bloody war paint. In all the ways that the green-eyed demon had torn her soul to shreds, this was different, yet she didn't question it long and closed her eyes again, biting her tongue to not giving him the satisfaction of her screams. "I got bored", the damned man said, she could hear a shrug in his low voice and ignored it, entering her thoughts again. "Thought I'd draw a bit", he laughed. Max breathed in slightly and felt ash fill her lungs and then escape back into hell, realizing that any pain was gone. Still, she opened her eyes to see Dean staring at her wildly, incredulously. His mouth was slightly open and his hands, still holding the blade hung slightly at his side as he stared at her incredulously. She didn't care though, she turned her head to look away from the man, feeling her burned flesh grow agitated at the motion, but it felt like nothing more than a tickle against the agony that she knew would only stop momentarily. She looked back at him, expecting another snicker or the feeling of metal clotting her veins once again but saw instead Dean with wild eyes darting up and sideways. He looked vulnerable, he looked human. That's when she heard a quiet voice, gruff in nature but gentle. "Hello, Dean" she heard it whisper and she looked up at it as Dean fell to his knees, ears pouring blood. A hand reached down to him grabbing his shoulder roughly and he looked over at her, terrified. " Maxine!" Dean shouted and grabbed her arm only slightly above her elbow and she woke up in the woods, alone, with a soft whisper of a voice still ringing in her ears, "Dean Winchester is saved along with another, we must find Maxine Byrne."

He was so, so close, dangerously so. I couldn't bring myself to pull back, to break eye contact. I was entranced by him. He kept me there, locked in his intense gaze. His eyes burned with something I hadn't seen ever before. Or maybe I just hadn't noticed. "Penny for your thoughts, Si?" Dean's breath fanned my face, making me pull in a breath of my own. I needed to step back before I couldn't control myself. You. But I wouldn't tell him that. I couldn't. For one, his ego did not need it. Two, I was scared. I was terrified that this would go too far and it wouldn't work out. "Wouldn't you like to know?" The words slip past my lips faster than I can stop them. That seemed to happen around him. I couldn't control the things I say or do. Normally, I had the best self-control a person could hope for. But Dean...he was able to rip that to pieces with just one look, one word. Dean chuckles and my body warmed at the sound. He stepped closer. His body brushed mine now and I couldn't breathe. But the burn in my lungs felt nice. Dean looked at me for a few moments. I could see the wheels turning in his head. What was he thinking about? I desperately wanted to know. "Screw it." He muttered before leaning down and kissing me. ___ Saige Dawson was a longtime friend of the Winchesters, the eldest brother especially despite the fact she was two years younger than him. She'd always had a tiny crush on him, not that'd she's admit it. And definitely not to him. John would bring his sons to her father's farm where they'd spend a week or two every once in a while. Saige had grown up hunting and with the Winchesters. She'd opened up to Dean, shared all her secrets and spilled her entire life story. He did the same. So one day when he stops by for a visit and tells her that John was missing, Saige had to help. John was like a second father figure for her. She couldn't just leave him hanging. And she couldn't leave Dean hanging either. He needed her help. So she would help.

"Maybe you are a monster, but so am I and so is Dean. Maybe every human or every living being is a monster. But who ever said that monsters can't save the world from a bunch of Biblical douchebags? We may be monsters but the three of us? The three of us will save the world, Sam, and we'll do it knowing we're heroes no matter how Heaven, Hell, or Humanity looks at us. "Are you a demon?" I question and she scoffs, screwing up her nose, "Of course not, I detest those vermin." She shakes her head and looks me in the eye, "The exact opposite, in fact. I'm much older than demons. And in regards as to why I have your face? Well, that would be because you let me." "What are you talking about?" I demand, growing frustrated. She sighs and takes a few steps towards me, to which I take a few back from her. She takes them in and stops, "Avery, you know who I am. You forgot for awhile, but you've begun to remember me." I look at her for a long moment, before it comes over me. My eyes widen and my mouth falls open, "Aleia." **************************************** Avery was killed by Metatron, along with Dean. But two very different forces brought them back. Dean is overpowered by the Mark of Cain, and Avery has secrets of her own. But they will soon be revealed when an old face reappears, stirring up old and painful memories. What will Sam think when Avery comes back after he thought she was dead? How will his obsession with saving Dean from the mark affect their relationship? Will the loss of their child bring them closer together or further apart? 'A Million Reasons' further explores Sam and Avery's love story and how they attempt to overcome the obstacles in their way. But will their love survive? Sam's heart beat rapidly as he continued struggling against the ropes. He flipped his hair out of his eyes as Benjamin continued, "I told you that I wanted Jack... and I intend to get him." "That's never going to happen!" Sam argued. Benjamin shrugged. "We shall see." He glanced down at a watch on his wrist. "In about two minutes, you're going to pass out and forget all about this conversation happening. In about twelve hours, you're going to start to feel the affects of the poison kick in." Sam's eyes widened at Benjamin's words as fear arose. "But you won't know what is happening," Benjamin went on. "After twenty-two hours, you will fall ill, in which, you--or rather-- your brother, will have two hours remaining to bring me Jack." He paused. "Or else you die." Sam cleared his throat. "And how is he supposed to do that if I don't even remember I've been poisoned?" Benjamin shot a finger into the air. "Ah, yes! I almost forgot. When you reach twenty-two hours, you will start to remember our meeting. Only by then, you will be too sick to do anything about it." As Sam stared at Benjamin, his head began to feel heavy as his vision blurred. His eyelids slowly began to close as his head bobbed. "Tick-tock," came Benjamin's distant voice. "Your timer has started." DISCLAIMER: I don't own the supernatural characters! Just the game mentioned and a few characters!
