"Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin.
Dance me through the panic till I'm gathered safe within.
Touch me with your naked hand or touch me with your glove.
Dance me to the end of love."
-Leonard Cohen

Annalise Avalon is intent on keeping up her walls. After batting depression and bulimia, and coming off of an abusive relationship, she's terrified of opening up. She's a senior in high school at a new school, and just wants to get through the year without going crazy. She's trying to remain callous and numb- at least that way no one can hurt her.

Lucas Lorca is a werewolf. He keeps up a bad boy facade with his human classmates, but at home, he's training to take his father's place as alpha of the Rose Moon Pack. Right now, his biggest priority is finding his mate, and he's spent the last year going crazy looking for her.

What will happen when the two meet? Can Nikolai break down Annalise's walls?

I know this summary is god awful, but honestly these are soooo hard to write. I hope you enjoy the story! I'll try to update at least twice a weak :)

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
