'Once upon a time, there was a little island in the middle of the pacific ocean, called "The Island of Souls". The island had two sides, the dark side and the light side. The souls of the island lived without any contact with the opposite side, as it was strictly forbidden. But two young souls, one from each side of the island, were curious to know what was to find on the opposite sides. So they began their journeys to the center of the island. After a little while, when the dark soul reached his destination, he looked over to the light side. What he saw made him hypnotized. On the other side of the border stood the light soul, also hypnotized. But the two weren't hypnotized by the sights of the unknown lands before them and the adventures they would bring. No, no.. They were hypnotized by each other. True love at first sight. The two young souls were to blinded by love, that they didn't think of the consequences that would follow. So after just a few months, when the king of the island had gotten the information that the two souls from each sides had contact, they both got split in two halfs and were sent into the human world. The four halfs of the two souls got connected to one person each and when the souls found it's other half, the people who were connected to them got attracted to each other. So if the souls were to become whole again, it had to be through their second born child. But when one of the couples were waiting for their first child to be born, and the other waiting for their second one, they both found out that they were having twins. When nine months had passed and the four children were born, the two souls had gotten pushed away by the kids own souls, so they were stuck in the middle. This meant that the four children had two souls, one of them more powerful than the other. Driven by the power of love and longing to reunite with their mate. And they will stop at nothing to do so.'
